Youth Team
In 2003, the Youth Minister gathered together a group of dedicated leaders within the Kingsgrove parish and formed the Youth Team. A very brief description of the Youth Team is that it is a young version of a Pastoral Council, however, the purpose of the Youth Team could not be more different!
 The Youth Team attempts to identify issues and opportunities within the community to help young people grow and develop their faith. This can include providing youthful music at the Sunday 6pm Mass, writing youth newsletters outlining what young people can get involved in, and even organising events such as a Trivia Night and a Fete!
The Youth Team attend two retreats each year, one as a rejuvenation, with lots of swimming, tennis and relaxing, and one as a re-ignition, getting them excited about the year ahead in Youth Ministry at Kingsgrove. Throughout the year, the Youth Team also meet to organise, pray, achieve goals and eat chocolate!
