Youth Christmas Party
The Youth Christmas Party is an annual event to bring together the youth of the parish, in order to share food, faith and festivities, as we prepare for the coming of our Lord.

This year, the Christmas party will be held on the 18th of December at 7pm, just after the Youth Mass. Entry is $5, and this includes the sausage sizzle, drinks and games.

If you are interested in attending, please email youthsoar@olfkingsgrove.org.

Youth Mass
Every Sunday night at the 6pm Mass, Kingsgrove holds a Youth Mass. Youth Masses have young people involved in all aspects of the Mass, including reading, singing, playing instruments, wardening, welcoming and even on occasion as part of reflections.

This Sunday, 24th Apr our Antioch band and choir will be singing and helping with our celebration of youthful faith. Why not come along!

Jesus And Me
JAM is a youth group for anyone in Year 7-10!  If you would like to come to JAM, then why not come along to the next JAM Session on Friday 6th May 2011 from 7pm-9pm. JAM has been attracting dozens of young people to its JAM Sessions. Why not come and see why they keep coming back. Don't forget to bring $2, and your friends!

Other dates for 2011 are posted on the JAM page.

Antioch
Antioch is a youth group for young people aged 15-21 years old. They meet regularly on Sunday nights at 7.30pm in the Clune Centre, where there is much energy, music and a talk given by one of the members. All are welcomed along to meetings, so why not find a friend and bring them along!

Antioch has just hosted its February weekend. Five new members joined the group and had an amazing experience. If you are 15-22 and want to join but missed out on the weekend, then why not join them at their Sunday night meetings from 7.30-9.30pm in the Clune Centre. The best time to join is always a weekend, but the next best thing are the meetings that follow it!

World Youth Day 2011 Fundraising
Four members of our youth community are travelling to Madrid this year to be part of World Youth Day. To help them get there, they will be having a series of fundraising events over the coming months.

Fete
Help our WYD reps get over to Madrid by taking part in this Parish Fete. 7th May 2011 from 9-3pm in the Church Car Park and Clune Centre. Expect a jumping castle, BBQ, gelato, Zumba class, second hand book stall and more! Free entry.

Student Club
The Student Club is starting up again for 2011. On 25-27th Febraury, 16 families headed down to Berry for a Sport and Rec camp. The weekend was such a success and many kids did not want to go home! Since then we have also been ice-skating with another 40 kids coming along for a skate.

The next Student Club outing is to Rock-climbing, followed by Laser Siege. Both of these events will be run in Term 2, and details will be arriving in your letter boxes soon.

The Student Club is still on the look out for parents who would like to help organising events. If you have a child going into Year 7-10 this year and have a spare two hours per term, or would like to help out at the Dance Parties, then please contact Anneliese Alexander, youthsoar@olfkingsgrove.org.
